So, I’ve followed the wonderful @shakira.akabusi for quite some time now, read her book (well, listened to it #audible is my friend!!), and pretty much think she is totally amazing. So, when the opportunity to take a class/attend one of her events came up I jumped at the chance.

Suffice to say - it was AWESOME!! @clarebournephysio joined her in the post class chat - and wow, talk about a brilliant-powerhouse-of-knowledge duo!!

I have also followed Clare for ages now, but again totally exceeded expectations. Not “just” the knowledge shared, but the kindness & realness with which it's done, and the sense community they created was just epic.

There is another event on Feb 11, I’ll definitely be there (thank you daddy-daycare!!😘😘😘)

Thank you so much @shakira.akabusi and @clarebournephysio (and Ashanti, Ellie, Yolandi, Marley and all the other wonderful women I got to meet and chat with! And, of course, @mortimerhouse - wonderful venue, lovely staff and GREAT food!!).

All round awesome morning - reigniting focus, passion for movement and exercise, reminding me that there is a "village" out there (we just need to find it) and that - we are all #stronglikemum!!!

I really hate complaining on here - but, well, have emailed them about 5 times, no response, and when I finally got on chat this morning (been "re-opening tomorrow at 8.15am" all week) and then had to deal with the most condescending and dismissive advisor... Again, in shock.

Hahaha, yes, I know, there are MUCH bigger things in the world. (And there are also other places to shop!)

Hello my leetl friends!!

Another day, another bike session - this is the longest one of the season, and it's set to be a pretty hot day here on ol' mud island... So, these little beauties are coming in handy!

(To be fair, I drink Fizz for fun it's so freakin delish! Need to order more grape, grapefruit & cola, so giving mango a bash!)

Little tip - when putting Fizz in your water bottle - keep the the spout thingy open for a bit, otherwise you get shot in the back of the throat when trying to gulp some down 🤣🤣 (I mean, that's what I've been told... Never done it myself obviously 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Rightio, less procrastinating, more 'getting it done'!!

Getting (almost) max usage of the HHPC this morning - first brick sesh of the season! @wahoo Kickr bike, then hit the @nordictrack_uk treadmill...

Hated the first few minutes on the bike, and then settled in and LOVED it, almost blew off the t-mill sesh, but couldn't really come up with a legit excuse, so, got that done too!!

I LOVE training outside, but also love that I can still get it done while the twinnagins sleep! (@hardmantri got the outside pass this morning!)

I am very tired of being sick, and tired! Now, I realise the tired bit is par for the course with toddler twins - but all these bugs flying around has really got me feeling really rotten.

So... from next week - so excited to be embarking on a gut cleanse!

So far we've made the broccolini, kale and mint soup and the pea and lamb soup - delicious!! (Meant to do this from last week... But, well, #norovirus had different plans 🤣🤣🤣)

Here's to a happier and healthier 2022 from here on out!! (And most importantly, more energy to keep up with the wee ones!)
